Rent A Bodyguard: A Dark Rom-Com (Renting Love)

He’s big, he’s broody, and he’s the best mistake she’s ever made.I’m not crazy, I’m just thoroughly watched. At least, that’s what I tell the police and the private investigator who both gave me the "bless your heart" look before taking my money and finding absolutely nothing. With a phantom stalker on my heels and my sanity hitting room temperature, I did the only logical thing: I went to the coffee shop to scout for a human shield. Then I saw him… Bane. He’s not just a man.

He’s a terrifyingly gorgeous mountain of muscle who looks like he eats bad guys for breakfast and skips the toast. Naturally, I did what any desperate, sleep-deprived woman would do—I offered him a job as my live-in bodyguard.I expected a professional deterrent.

I didn't expect a broody giant who takes "monitoring my vitals" to a heart-shattering level. Now I’m sharing my space with a man who could snap a phone book in half but handles me like I’m made of glass.Between the invisible creeper outside and the very visible, very shirtless distraction in my guest room, I’m starting to wonder: is Bane here to save my life, or am I just in danger of falling for the help?A darkly hilarious, obsessively steamy rom-com where the bodyguard with a dark secret falls hardest, the sweet girl gets stalked, and happily-ever-after comes with an unexpected twist.
